Our purpose at Stoney Point Baptist Church is to love God and love people. Regardless of what
you have been taught in the past or what you have experienced in other churches, it really is
that simple. Everything we do revolves around those two main things.
Of course, we are not perfect at either of these objectives. There is (and will always be)
room for improvement. However, with God's guidance we are committed to taking this journey of faith together.
At Stoney Point, you will find that we are more concerned with substance than with style. We are not
hung up on how people look or what they drive. Our focus is on bringing glory to God above everything else.
We are all unique creations of God who have experienced plenty of bumps and bruises along the way.
Because of this, we acknowledge that journeying through life together can get a little bit messy at times. Thankfully, though, God has plenty of grace and forgiveness for all of us, no matter what.
So, regardless of who you are, where you have been, or what you have done, you are welcome at Stoney Point
Baptist Church. We are just ordinary people serving an extraordinary God.
